First Day v.2

Hey,
My name is John Craig. After a long van ride down to Camden (6 hours). We started to settle in, unpacked, and explored the Romero Center. After this we had a quick orientation, where the head of the Center, John, explain what would take place and what to expect over the course of the week. After we had dinner, and my van took care of washing the dishes. Surprisingly we managed it pretty well. Then after some recreational time we were told about our first activity. We were to buy food as a family of four, for a day paying only how much a family of four would get from well fare. $12!!!! We shopped at the local supermarket and returned to the center. We then went into small groups to discuss the activity and what our impressions were. After, we chose where we will be working tomorrow. I will be going on a tour of Camden to see the Environmental Injustice in the city. I hope to gain greater incite through this activity. OK, I'm off to get some sleep, we're up early tomorrow. Bye
